There have been celebrations today at Wilsthorpe School as students arrived to collect their A Level results. Half of all A Level entries at Wilsthorpe Sixth Form were at grades A*- B and three-quarters were at grades A*-C, with a 100% pass rate.
Such results have included many excellent individual outcomes with students going on to study at the country’s leading universities.
- Olivia Allen’s exceptional achievement of 3 A* grades in Maths, Biology and Chemistry means that she will take up a place at The University of Leicester to study Medicine.
- Camilla Shi (A*, A*, A, B) embarks on an Economics degree at University College London (UCL).
- Jacob Fennemore (A*, A, A, B) is looking forward to taking up his chosen course of Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
- Jaya Gosal (A*, A, B) is preparing to study Law at the University of Sheffield and Ben Williams (A*, A, B) takes up a place at the University of Sheffield to study Economics.
- Ben Williams – A*, A, B in History, Economics, and Maths. Ben’s work ethic, character, and enthusiasm will serve him well as he pursues Economics at the University of Sheffield.

Wilsthorpe Sixth Form has doubled in size over the past 5 years, boosted by an £8 million investment in a state-of-the-art Sports and Sixth Form Centre, alongside exceptional exam results and support for students.
