As part of tutor time the students will also be invited to join either our mentoring or ambassador programmes. Mentoring of lower school students can take a variety of forms including; one-to-one peer mentoring, delivering presentations or leading and supporting a tutor group. Mentoring helps to develop the confidence of our sixth form students whilst also providing evidence for students’ personal statements. Our ambassador programme allows students to represent the sixth form at a variety of events. This is another example students can use to showcase their abilities beyond their academic study.
